In-Kind Donations

Do you enjoy creating, but don’t necessarily need to keep the end result of your project? Have you considered donating your projects in-kind? Hospitals, in particular, can use projects that have been created by your loving hands. Below is a list of donate in-kind project ideas:

CROCHET OCTOPUSES FOR PREEMIES
Renee Clark, owner and artist of CREATE Courageously is a mom of three children who were born as preemies. Her oldest spent time in the NICU and spent his first two months being attached to an infant apnea monitor. Her twins were also preemies, but, thankfully, both were able to go home unassisted. With preemies in mind, if you know how to crochet, Renee recommends making and donating Octopals to Octopus for a Preemie – US. If you are in the UK, please visit Octopus for a Preemie – UK. Patterns are available on the Octopus for a Preemie UK Facebook page.

CROCHET BEANIES & BLANKETS
Knots of Love is a volunteer organization where volunteers create beanies for cancer patients and baby blankets for NICU patients.

KNIT KNITTED KNOCKERS
